Brett I. Phillips My initials are bip šŸ¤” I like to play devil’s advocate and take the contrary position.

Good point. ā€œ(BTC)ā€ implies a fiat conversion.

That’s fair. I don’t think there is a reasonable expectation of accrued value based on the efforts of others. They are purely speculative in an unabashed way.

A political struggle between Trump and Powell most likely ending in acquiescence by the Fed and the lowering of rates and QE.

This is actually going to be my point of argument with anyone doubting my choice to finally see the truth

Part of me thinks the $TRUMP and $MELANIA tokens were just ways for those who didn’t donate to his campaign to pay tribute now that he had won.

I don’t see a true CBDC in the US right now, but I see everyone (mostly) uses centralized, digital dollars through apps like Venmo, PayPal, X (soon), and the major credit card companies.

This has all the downsides of a government CBDC with none of the few upsides of it being run by public entities vs private.

I mean all signs as in that’s where we’re headed whether they are for or against.

Tether, and any other USD backed stable coin issuer would be at the mercy of the US Govt…cruise missile risk if you don’t play ball. Wouldn’t it be in the interest of US hegemony to shutdown and non-US issuers?

Not his home address; just the local, internal network he was on. He could have been sitting at the New York public library which would make finding the virus rather plausible.

Waking up to snow falling is nice.

Seriously! First thing I thought and came to reply. Good thing someone said first.
