You can hate Hayton. no-one can stop you. You can object, on reasonable grounds, to AGP in a specific job that includes a power imbalance. And you can be epically disappointed that others don't agree with you.

but this seems way out of hand.

It seems to me that people, the women in this, are just as guilty as those (often men) in other movements of factionalism, and wanting to join something just for a fight. I don't think any group on any issue is free of that. People are tired, there is a degree of brain inflammation (seriously) abroad in society, tempers are frayed. Self awareness is low. Valid points get lost. And arguments become diminished.

nostr:npub17f8vp4xuksjrj99vx24935kuqgqftgq5lz35e7lrz00a2e52mwlsxfs2el the ideal is both subject and child raising/teaching qualified. but of the two.... maybe good with kids, level headed and with an enquiring mind would be better.

nostr:npub17f8vp4xuksjrj99vx24935kuqgqftgq5lz35e7lrz00a2e52mwlsxfs2el I gave up on watercolour. everything is big, ugly, or both. I don't know why that's the only style they picked.

Had a look at knitting and found this. https://www.creativebug.com/classseries/single/knit-a-log-cabin-shawl it's let me download the pattern to keep. But seeing as you have ALL those credits... if you added it to your library if I got stuck you could look something up for me... couldn't you.

I like the finished shawl. maybe because it's green. I'm confused by the yarn weight and yardage. And her terminology. k1,p1 change every row = moss stitch. k1 p1 change every other row = double moss to me. what she's doing there I've seen as Irish Moss - which I like! - it's wee 2x2 squares.

I'm possibly reacting to the colour too much. I don't like garter stitch, I find it slows me down for some reason - knitting into a purl stitch is what it feels like to me.

Cascade 220 is supposedly worsted, but listed in some places as DK. and this yarn is 128metres/50g with a tensions of 18sts/10cm and that's just odd. That would be Aran. This is called Worsted, listed as Aran and is 200metres/100g. so 6x50g is 300g, so three of these would be short - she says you need about 700yds... I'm just talking nonsense!

But the slipstitch edge and welts instead of joining are sort of interesting.

nostr:npub17f8vp4xuksjrj99vx24935kuqgqftgq5lz35e7lrz00a2e52mwlsxfs2el after a couple of weeks the parrot seems greener and less identical to the irgazin (narrow stripe) or am I havering? Today on left
