The root key is never stored on the web. That can stay locked away with you and only ever used when you want to rotate keys
That relay attack is such a straw man. You can say the same thing about a custodial lightning provider rugging you. Whatâs the solution to that? Running your own node? Well itâs a hell of a lot easier to run your own relay to back up events than it is to manage your own lightning node
Iâm not familiar with satslash. Is that related to sat names based on Caseyâs docs?
I think the biggest issue with any new unique name protocol is avoiding squatters. You need some means of making it costly to occupy valuable names
I donât see what this offers that ordinals and inscriptions donât beyond not being associated with the word
Whichever LLM was used for this needs to be reported for inaccuracies đŹ

Definitely ai

This is awesome. Nicely done!
Iâm afraid the gender split on Nostr may make this difficult đ
I think nostr poses a unique use case where given that there is not just one type of client, there shouldnât be just one type of relationship. There is space in the protocol to have âfriendsâ, âfollowersâ, âconnectionsâ, and many others
Bitcoin is still very volatile. If you canât afford to lose it or have the price fall significantly short term you should not buy
âOnly buy #bitcoin with the money you can't afford to lose.â

Iâm sorry but this is retarded
Nope. nostr:npub1dtgg8yk3h23ldlm6jsy79tz723p4sun9mz62tqwxqe7c363szkzqm8up6m will be be in attendance still, talking about his new Minecraft server called Satlantis.
Is it G?
Which 8? And whatâs the dedicated purpose for each?
Love seeing this kind of non-bitcoin content come over to nostr!
Another concern that I have is once you start spreading funds across hundreds of mints, then you start to lose the beauty of how easy and seamless it is to send and receive ecash.
With the torrent model, the consequences of a dishonest actor are limited and the incentives to be dishonest are virtually nonexistent. Whereas with ecash there is a financial incentive to rug users and little recourse for users beyond lowering the attackers web of trust score.

If I have a Pubkey but nothing else, I wonât even know which relays to search. I a world where Nostr has billions of users and there are thousands of relays, having a single space to discover where a Pubkey advertises where they publish notes would be useful
