Oh for sure, public relays global is junk. Curated relays are great.
I am also this morning playing around with lists. Some people have defined great user lists that create great feeds. E.g. here's one of top Nostr devs.
Hmmm learning something new here about the #Brave browser. The so called privacy-friendly browser...

Lobste.rs is forcing me to look in another direction (which is a good thing!)
TY for the rec of lobste.rs – good feed
"Llama 3.3 can one-shot a full interactive application while running on my Mac."
I found three useful tricks. 1) was to use some of the algorithms ("DVMs") which gives you popular and trending notes. You can use these as your main feed or follow people from there. 2) was follow hashtags, 3) was fine some more curated relays, such as Nostr wine or web of trust ("WOT ") relays and read the "global" view there.
Lots of power here, lots of good content, but yet to become user friendly!
Jumble is probably the best client for browsing algo relays right now. Feel free to try it out: https://jumble.social/?r=wss://algo.utxo.one/ #nostr #grownostr
I was very excited about this, but it does not appear to work. Am I doing something wrong?
Fantastic Maya. I have sent it through to them. Thanks!
Three weeks ago two startup founders pitched me Uber on Nostr and Lightning rails, to replace driver's WhatsApp groups. Does this sound similar to Fuente?
Thanks CT. I tried it and works well. I love the simplicity of what you've built!
What plans do you have for it?
I mean npub/nsec
Social clients usually prefer less friction onboarding, say our keys are too complicated.
Decentralized ID solutions usually prefer all bells and whistles like key rotation, say our keys are too simple.
Fiatjafs solution somehow manages to offend everyone and so is ... possibly the right solution?
'Blocksky' is catchy, good Nostr marketing! 👏👏
Testing Jumble. I wonder. Can relay sets be stateful and passed in the URL?
Just found jumble.social very simple relay-first client by nostr:nprofile1qqszg33fxzppk304xrkqqclv5zn9ytj62au9d7vzl22ymu808jhs82cpz4mhxue69uhkummnw3ez6un9d3shjtnpwpcqz9rhwden5te0wfjkccte9ejxzmt4wvhxjmcpp4mhxue69uhkummn9ekx7mqy0mr9n
#nostr ID system upsets everyone.
Complete enough that other social protocols dismiss it as too complicated for onboarding.
Lightweight enough that other ID protocols dismiss it as too incomplete to use.
Might mean it has a chance of working?
Does anyone have examples of Nostrobots used with a) drafts, or b) other kinds of notes besides kind 1? #asknostr
Question: Let's say I self-host Alby Hub. So that's a lightning node and wallet. I can open a channel with nostr:nprofile1qqs0h7ec2h2scduxdtcqfp9xgangpts79lcye6uamzfkge0hp5u32zcpp4mhxue69uhhjctzw5hx6egpp4mhxue69uhkummn9ekx7mqpz3mhxue69uhhyetvv9ujuerpd46hxtnfdu46puj5
Do I need to run my own Bitcoin Node or do you provide this service?

You don't need a node. I am using Alby with Phoenixd backend, and it's very easy to set up. This may help. https://rodbishop.npub.pro/post/setting-up-payments-on-nostr-7o6ls7/
