They are really extending what 'troll' means s (which has already been warped previously from it's original meaning) to basically be not having to listen to a view which you do not hold. i think they are mostly happy in their designated sections sealed off from imaginary nazis, or other bluesky users who don't pass their purity test ? no idea really

There is a term for this I'm blanking on. I know most, if not all marketing is meant to target predictable emotional responses, so they might as well capitalize on it, it begins to solidify the echo chamber unfortunately by building "safe spaces" protected from criticism. Although I suppose this one reason is why targeted adverts work well, most are unlikely see the contradicting adverts.
I was kind of waiting for the exact opposite "ads" for nostr at some point, but we have no corpo marking team.
