Good morning #nostr! It has been about a month since I joined and I'm loving "Self-Soverign Social".
My challenge has been connecting with like minded folks, which is surprising because if we are both here on nostr we likley share at least an interest in decentralization and #bitcoin.
So I want to try a little experiment this morning. I have just under 500,000 sats or about $350 in my nostr:npub1flm9yc3vhc3dj036pn3ysl5xwd4f5gyhyjnn9rzehs5mqe9y9ynq6qrg9q account, I want you to help me empty it!
Please follow me (if you are not already) and share this post and I'll zap you 2,100 sats until I run out or have to leave the office. It's about 8:45AM EDT, and I'll be zappin' until at least 3PM (or until I'm broke).
In theory this should yield about 235 paid engaugements, which will hopefully amplify my presance here and help me connect with some like minded folks.

Good morning #NOSTR! I just returned to the east coast after a visit out west. It is incredible to me how far #bitcoin has come in to the public view in the last 6 months. Bitcoin ATM's advertised everywhere I look, huge ads for bitcoin ETFs in airports, people talking about it at the next table in a restaurant. The mainstream is coming, slowly at first, and then all at once.

With the release of nostr:npub1aghreq2dpz3h3799hrawev5gf5zc2kt4ch9ykhp9utt0jd3gdu2qtlmhct 1.0 it is crazy easy to become more sovereign. Easily run a #bitcoin node, a #nostr relay, and loads of other cool tools. Take that old laptop or desktop and turn it into a node!
While I agree with the “you can shoot someone who has invaded your home and refuses to leave after several warnings” thing… In NY you must LIVE full time in a place for six months before you can claim any squatters rights, and while squatters rights may seem ridiculous, if I or a representative have not visited my home in six months maybe it should go to someone who needs it…..
