Drop your username once you are on there #[1] 🤣
Yeah, this has always been the case in these circles.
INTJ myself.
I remember when the Facebook main page proudly stated that it’s free and will always be free. I think was in response to rumors that they would be charging for extra features years ago.
My how things have changed
Looks like Zuck decided to take another idea. Has anyone seen him around these parts yet? #[0] #[1]?
Installed. Joined the waitlist a while ago, so maybe soon? 👀
Yeah, but I can’t imagine Twitter is actively seeking those that have that info in their bio. It seems like an angry response to tweeting about it.
Sounds very similar to what a smaller, ‘truthful’ social media app does when challenged.
Not to the average user, but it has the potential to be. Understand that the average user is going to be attracted to the pretty things first. They will expect an app built around nostr to have a basic feature set found on Twitter.
We talk about being unstoppable, but the reality most won’t care about that until it personally affects them. Since MOST do not get banned the only sure thing to do is keep building. Release a killer feature that forces a Twitter to pay attention. Similar to what Clubhouse did before they dumbfucked it.
Mastodont is an awful user experience and was pushed hard by cryptographers. Left a bad taste in their mouths.
I think what #[2] is doing with Damus is going to be the killer app to push this to the mainstream. Android folks might be annoyed, but nailing the iOS versions till this very day is the way to go first.
This is all promising. My concerns are malicious code potentially being inserted like that one Twitter post highlighted recently.
Rename it to ‘snub’
Keep it spicy Martti
Ignore seems to be the most appropriate term for nostr
Damn this immediately got me thinking of the Portlandia intro. Definitely a different vibe here 🤙🏾
