Do normies actually believe this?
I spend several minutes contemplating, double-checking, and editing things before I post them on here.
Nostr has made me consider my words and their implications far more than rage-posting on Twitter.
Even so- I still make mistakes and say things I wish I didn’t. It makes us more human.
I love it.
I agree with this statement. I come at it from a point of using WeChat for 5 years and the horrible experience it delivers.
I just don’t see one company producing exceptional results across the board over smaller and more specialized teams.
If someone creates and app that can do “everything” and all of those services are better than existing services… well that screams Antitrust laws and needs to be broken up.
One thing Elon doesn’t seem to understand is that the only reason people in China use WeChat is because they have to.
It’s the worst UX ever.
Painfully slow, mini-programs are mediocre ripoffs of existing applications, far too much data consolidated in one place, stupid for payments (NFC>QR)
I could go on for ages.
I would say that he will fail immensely trying to bring this idea to a free market, but people are idiots and will gladly throw away privacy and rights for “convenience”.
Curious how the public reacts to being able to “do everything” from one app.
Remind me of this in 2 years.
Talking heads on Bloomberg are still shilling Bitcoin/Etherium/Stablecoins as the “ideal portfolio”.
