In some regions of central Europe, people use or at least have historically used tiled brick ovens/fireplaces that extend well into the room or two rooms if built between them, with cozy benches around them, those are nasty to get going but stay warm for ages.
I now prefer the giant steel slab though, it's so metal.
Come on man, you got a little war? I really need some war right now.
As long as there are thrones, people will kill to sit on them.
I am not adding litecoin, cardano or monero. We have bitcoin and stables, to add the rest would be uncivilized.

I hear stablecoins are steadily losing their value because the things they are pegged to keep multiplying at no cost to their producers.
What a shitty post.
We don't want no kings, only lifelong parlamentarians with no accountability to their people, round-the-clock heavily armed protection, and more power than any medieval lord could ever dream to attain.
It's strange that contemporary political convention does not allow a lot of people to believe in both collectivism and high-quality food.
I don't think Marx ever said food must make the workers sick, that would've undermined his entire act of pretending to care about the common man.
Yeah, well, I mean you can always vote them out of office, right?

Friend: So what's your exit plan from Bitcoin?
Me: I don't plan to exit Bitcoin. I want to exit corruption, dishonesty, and fraud. Bitcoin is how I exit all those. Bitcoin is my exit plan.

Get as much value out of the surveilled and destructive monetary system and never put it back in, except to immediately buy something from someone who doesn't accept stable commodity money, simple as that.
Imagine a liberal German guest host on a mid-1930s American radio show being asked to use a controversial word.
What's good for the moose is good for the panda.
While that would certainly be an interesting experiment, I don't think it'd be necessary or even feasible without world-shattering violence.
In a theoretical capitalist society, everyone ought to rise close to the level of his competence, rather than fail upwards through political connections or bureaucratic requirements, leaving behind and living off those able to provide for themselves.
And that hateful system is what people are all to eager to believe to be actual capitalism, where only the politically connected may get and stay ahead while everyone else is condemned to lifelong poverty.
A couple of places got close and got rich because of it but I couldn't point to an actual AnCapistan
Your English is atrocious, good sir.
Meh, power pretty much is getting what you want despite people not wanting you to have it.
Wisdom is knowing when to walk away
It's remarkable that these people have the ability to think but a single step ahead and build a whole philosophy around it: "If we just take everything from this group of people, all will be well forever".
I'm of course talking about the rank & file, red guard, cannon fodder type of socialist, not those who would be in charge after the revolution.
The latter obviously know that they're trying to enslave entire countries solely for their personal enrichment .
Nobody has free healthcare, you either have to pay for it directly, via insurance, or via taxes.
If you happen to pay none of these, you're living at the expense of other people and their children's futures.
