As someone who cut his teeth in my youth in tech support, I would never ever even give a hint of "advice". Once you touch a computer, you own every future problem in their eyes. Now apply that to their money. hell no

VC's who love to play poker, make a podcast called "All In" where the intro is cards and poker chips. You don't go to this place to get truth. Every minute of that show is them trying to influence the world around them to their advantage. Maybe at times your interests align with theirs, but that is the best you can hope for.
As a steel man against free, open protocols like Nostr and Bitcoin, I would say that the majority of people are more interested in control over freedom even if they themselves have neither. They do not trust something that frees them because it also frees those they want controlled.
Also, I have noticed during this twitter/x dustup, that there is a void in the conversation around alternatives where Nostr should be. It gets unremembered; voided. I believe this is also why the word crypto is so used in place of Bitcoin even by people who are not hostile to it. As if these things are lights that burn so bright they cannot be looked at.
