Someone could set up a relay that requires invites, like bluesky, if they so desired, to help create some FOMO. (although seems like an annoying way to get new users, that would just cause arguments)

Long-form content posts are already parameterized replaceable, but i don’t see a way that could be implemented while retaining backwards compatibility. The solution that comes to mind is that you could publish a new event referencing the old one, similar to a deletion, and clients could search for those whenever pulling a note. However the drawback is that checking every note for edits would be very resource consuming. Do you have any thoughts?
