No joke. I would love this. Just to watch the reactions of gender dysphoria patients all waking up at the same time. Realizing what they have done to themselves. It would be the single most mass awakening of the mentally disturbed woke crowd in history.

As they realize how illogical and hypocritical concepts like gender fluid really are. They would begin to find their inner femininity and masculinity again.

They always were. Nothings changed.

Wow! Look at those computer animated graphics. Very nice professional quality work whoever is responsible in post production. Almost looks real and believable.

If you didn't know any better.

The real winner in this picture is the dad. Beautiful wife. Beautiful daughters. Even though he is not anywhere near male model material. Good on him!

If you are overweight, ain't much of a looker, and you want some hopeful inspiration. Look no further than this dude. Living the dream.

Interesting approach. The technical challenge comes from choosing the language translation software. If this was a nip then relays could be free to choose their own implementations. The challenge comes from accuracy of the translations, handling all of the translation load requests, and ensuring cross compatibility between languages for the available relays.

For example if there isn't a unified translation model. Misinterpretations from mistranslations would be rampant.

This seems like a great way to potentially unburden the load requirements by spreading the load over relays together. Making it a nip is a technical challenge. Which requires some innovative ideas to preserve privacy and security without relying on a centralized proprietary language translation service.

There are many people who do not have google on their phones. Those with who understand how serious of a privacy and security violation that is. Will go to great lengths to free themselves from this evil.

Relying on Google translate isn't a viable option for a FOSS project like #Amethyst. Which, correct me if I am wrong, goes to great lengths to preserve security and privacy for their users. Using anything of their products on a project like Amethyst is like saying I am wearing protection during sex.

However you still get an STD (privacy and security violation) from a hooker (google services), because the protection you are wearing is a bullet proof vest and not a condom (trustworthy FOSS). If you use the google play version and have google services on your phone with other proprietary apps that violate your rights. No matter what Amethyst does to try and protect you. If there is still google anything involved, your privacy and security are an illusion. They don't really exist.

Those who feel this way and have freed themselves from google slavery. Do not have a native translation feature on the FDroid version. So having either a baked in auto translation feature that works natively offline on android, or via a Linux server running a tor language translation service to Amethyst only users.

Would be the best long term solution that retains the spirit of #Amethyst.

Just on whether or not it is raining outside.

That one I can't explain.

What if you had a Linux server with an open source language translation model running as an Amethyst only service. Which handles translation requests over the tor network?

Traffic could get a little heavy, but at this early adoption stage this could be a zappable feature request to keep it up and running.

Pipe dream maybe, or a fun afternoon project.

I'll leave that up to you.

Vitor creator of #Amethyst. Is there, or could there be plans to implement an open source language translation feature?

Nostr is becoming very multicultural. It would be wonderful to have native support within the app for instant post text language translation without leaving it.

This would also provide a definitive edge for the overall onboarding experience for new nostr users as well. Allowing everyone to better communicate with each other regardless of where we are from in our own native tongues.

Food for thought. Hope you are doing well. Take care and stay awesome!

Neither if you just use Bitcoin.

I'd be happy to mentor you for awhile until you get your Linux sea legs. If you need any help, just ask. Ive been using, developing, and contributing to FOSS projects + Linux distros for 14 years. Always happy to help someone get started off on the right foot.

If you like podcasts about these topics. I would highly suggest Jupiter Broadcasting shows. They helped me in the beginning. They have an amazing supportive community. That are always willing to teach and show you how everything works anytime day or night.

There is actually a lot of evidence out there to support that Christianity was created on a foundation of stoicism.

Probably. I don't know the difference between those two churches either. I was raised roman catholic. Very devout. Left the church after my pastor and biship raped my sunday school classmates. Then just got transfered without prosecution.

Overall I lost my faith even more when I dived deep into the corruption and hijacking of the church by evil.

Now I am a stoic with a foundation of christian morals and ethics which have become a part of my core virtues and personality.
