Yeah, I get ya. I believe being able to defend yourself or others anywhere is a duty.

It's good to be aware of the consequences, though.

I don't know about your state, but in mine they have to have 1" high lettering saying no weapons allowed (or similar), or it doesn't have any legal meaning.

Dang, my Nostr profile details (display name, LN address, profile pic, banner pic, about me) all got nuked.

Any way to back this up without just manual entry for the future?

From an outsider's perspective:

I guess it depends on their (AMZ's) intent and their consistency.

I am all for transpancy.

But, are they trying to be transparent or just fomenting backlash against the president and his policies because they don't like him or it's affect on their bottomline? I don't know.

If they are being transparent and consistent, then we would see the same practice across the globe in every country that has terrifs. Do Canadian customers see the upcharge from their terrifs? I would guess not. Did they ever publically address the increase in prices due to inflation caused by the Biden admin's horrible policies? I'm guessing not.

It seems most of the tarrifs are a temporary measure to have a strong bargaining chip in the president's effort to rebalance trade deals across the globe. If good deals are made, that will have a big impact on US consumers in the long term, for the better. If Amazon is trying to foment backlash to end the tarrifs prematurely, that seems shortsighted.

Sorry, thought I hit save as draft.

Download is through the Google Chrome webstore. And, it looks like I may not be able to do so without a Google account.

Is there another way to get the extension?

Cool!

Does this encrypt the file or create an encrypted copy?

The gorilla.

He'd probably be just chillin in the Rain Forest Cafe the whole time. I hate that place. He can have it.

I agree that it is broken.

I've heard a lot of waiters say they want tips instead of an increased hourly rate. They make more that way. I guess managemt doesn't recognize merit effectively?

I like tips as it should enforce accountability. But, I think that has long gone out the window with delivery. Most payment processors I've used for delivery have you add the tip before service is executed, so it has just become something taken for granted, and there is no feedback mechanism.

The need for customers to provide feedback directly to the waiter through tips is interesting. I guess there is some social barrier to complaining to management that this was designed to overcome.

I've been trying to do this for 30 minutes a day. It feels so good and refreshing afterwards.

Looks cool!

Thanks for the good work on the documentation.

So many projects I look at don't even have a basic description of the software's intent or it's use cases in the README.

Does the local relay need to be running on the phone? Trying to wrap my head around how that connection would work in an outage situation.
