I was all excited to get straight to programming this morning, but then I got dragged out on a bike ride.

Granted, I wanted to do this, but … you know ... I was excited about programming.

Took a spill on a wet, 100-year-old brick street.

I'm fine; typical scrape-up that is normal when you're a kid, but happens less as you get older.

But my iPhone is another story. The screen is smashed to hell.

Now I have to decide whether I want to continue with the Apple ecosystem or just completely move

over to GrapheneOS.

Might be a good opportunity to finally make the move.

Woke up excited to start coding.

I started using Ollama 2 days ago. Pretty easy to get up and running.

A little disappointed though at the size of the models I can run at a useful speed.

405b is completely out of my grasp.

Tried to run Llama llama3.1:405b

Error: model requires more system memory (207.7 GiB) than is available (39.0 GiB)

Hmmmm, maybe I'm not prepared for this.

God I love programming.

Just started a BLEEDING edge nostr:npub17tyke9lkgxd98ruyeul6wt3pj3s9uxzgp9hxu5tsenjmweue6sqq4y3mgl experiment in Nashville this week.

Testing a custom board by a contributor. BIGGER screen, wider aspect ratio. MUCH EASIER TO READ!!!!

But... jiggle the setup too much and the Pi Zero crashes 🤣 (it's the camera's fault; no enclosure leaves the ribbon cable flapping around).

Stop by the SeedSigner table in the "Maker Space" workshop area of the conf to take a look (it's where all the cool kids will be).

This is awesome.
