HOLY! This looks amazing as all fark too. Some other screengrabs of the GUI for "Nestr" - a client that seems to do ALOT.. including providing a github style experience to the user over nostr! And yep! It's done by Colby Serpa and an amazing team from the sounds. (Sorry too crap to remember all their names from the livestream but please give him a follow as this looks awesome!)

Why old school signup with captcha?
Yep, I don't have a wallet set up on this account. Thanks for the thought though!
I'm down that road as well.
Yes, I understand what you are saying, and certainly on a first pass, this is true. It would be hard for me to know in advance what it is like to be X, whether that is a vampire, parent or a paraplegic.
In the Wikipedia article they make a stronger statement though, that there are experiences that someone else has that "cannot be assessed in advanced."
My argument against that is on a fundamental physics / computer science level.
Alan Turing showed us that once a computer becomes what we now call "Turing Complete", it can run ANY program that can be run by ANY Turing complete computer in our universe. The computers may differ in their speed or memory, but they can all run the same programs.
Your brain, my brain, vampires brains (presumably Turing complete), space aliens brains and the AGIs when then come can all run the same programs, and thus can all have the same experiences. Therefore they can describe the experience they had to us, and we can understand/experience it.
Doesn't mean we can do all this know with our tech, but from what we know it can in principle be done.
Sorry to go so deep and theoretical ... I know probably not what you were expecting.
Good Morning!
I think this site is pretty good: https://www.w3schools.com/
I would start at the top left of the tool bar and explore the first three: HTML, CSS, JavaScript. They will get you the farthest. If you know those three, you can write about any NOSTR application you want.
We tend to think of the internet as something that brings us knowledge.
But, it does something even more profound: the reverse.
It allows us to venture out into the world, and do so anonymously.
We have been shackled by the inherent vulnerability of our physical bodies.
Ben Franklin took good advantage of his printing press to use anonymity to speak out, but we can go way beyond good old Ben.
You have a superpower sitting there waiting for you to take advantage of it.
- Download https://tails.net/ to a USB.
- Run it.
- Log onto your favorite #nostr client and create a new identity.
- Tell nobody, not even your family and closest friends about your secret identity.
Become a superhero.
Reminds me of: https://en.m.wikipedia.org/wiki/Transformative_Experience
"Paul offers a hypothetical example of a decision to become a vampire. Because a person would be fundamentally transformed by becoming a vampire, they cannot possibly know in advance what being a vampire is like."
That is interesting, however I very much disagree with L.A. Paul on this. 😉
made the alterations to the layout:

brackets have moved to the center, escape to the middle top
it will take me a little while to get used to looking for escape there... the firmware programming key location hasn't changed, bottom left top right... this is where the json and c code for it are:
https://github.com/mleku/qmk_firmware/tree/mlekuski/keyboards/idobao/id75/keymaps/mlekuski
i love being able to do this... i have a second keyboard, even, it's my backup in case this one fails, that is programmed the same... currently has ugly hand-written legends on the thing but it's identically programmed
and yeah, it will take a little bit for me to get used to the new number positions but this is much more ergonomic, i should find top row easier when programming now
With this keyboard, you have become my new favorite follow.
#NOSTR never goes down.

Learn to code on #nostr.
It isn't that hard, and you are needed.
GM.

Ooooo, this is interesting.
