It’s interesting that Bitcoin is on version 0.x.y (0.28.1 rn) and it’s 15+ years in. Typically when a software is below major v1, it indicates that it’s still early on in development. Bitcoin is one of the most battle tested and reviewed software there has ever been.

But it’s important to keep in mind that this is all an experiment. Nobody has guaranteed anything.

Maybe the most interesting social project EVEr. If you keep this in mind, and only this, then you will be happy.

People tend to focus too much on what Bitcoin isn’t rather than what Bitcoin is.

The “oddity” with OP_CHECKMULTISIG and need for OP_0 might have been a placeholder for future upgrade. That’s an interesting thought.

I would like to think that Satoshi had some foresight.
