"Speculative Attack" is something I still link to today, because it's such a powerful explanation of how instabilities can emerge between #bitcoin and the debt-based fiat global monetary order. However, I'm having trouble linking the Pierre Rochard who wrote that 11 years ago to the guy who shows up at conferences and podcasts today who is at least mildly (if not strongly) in favor of the Strategic Reserve concept.
Is "hyperbitcoinization" of the type you describe still on the table? And if so, does the Dollar survive? And, perhaps most importantly, does MAGA understand any of this, and are comfortable with a world where the Greenback becomes toilet paper?

SBR is Speculative Defense, which is why I’m in favor of it. I think the word “dollar” will become synonymous with “sats” when they reach value parity and every dollar is backed 1:1 by a sat in the SBR. Dollar won’t survive in its current form, it has to evolve. And we should want it to evolve so as to not rug everyone relying on it.
