I'm convinced that had the early leaders and policymakers of the Indian Republic been influenced by the ideas of Locke, Mises and Hayek instead of that of Marx, Keynes and the Webbs, we'd be living in a more free, peaceful, advanced and prosperous society today.

Our culture would've remained intact and gradually reformed for the better.

The Indian subcontinent would've become the land of the free and home of the 'based'.

People like Rajaji, BR Shenoy, Minoo Masani, KM Munshi, Nani Palkhivala and many others like them in the future will be remembered not for being popular, but for being right. They stood up for real Indian freedom at a time when it was widely unpopular to do so (It still is).

On the other hand, certain people who have statues and streets in their likeness will no longer elicit the undeserved respect that they do. There will come a time in the future when the country puts its head down in shame for the kind of political and economic ideas it celebrated and embraced.

Socialism will always fail.

Freedom will always prevail.

In case us Indians forget:

The political movies that we watch to inform our worldview are the ones that the bureaucrats in the Ministry of Information and Broadcasting want us to watch.

All the reels, shorts and videos about politics are overseen and monitored by the Ministry of Electronics and Information Technology.

All of them.

If you want to speak the truth without being censored or monitored, and listen to other people do the same, get on Nostr.

And get other people to join Nostr.

You don't need to ask anyone's permission to speak your mind.

An Artificial Intelligence, in its current form or even in its 'super' form that tech folks and nerds speak of, cannot own things.

When you don't own something, you can't do economic calculation on it.

Which means you can't take risks with it, value it, have preferences on how to use it or understand opportunity costs of using it for one thing rather than something else.

This is why an economy directed from the top by a government AI will eventually result in the same circumstances as Mao's China, Hitler's Germany, Stalin's Russia, Nehru and Indira's India, or Kim's North Korea: suffering, starvation and death.

Laissez-faire is the correct economic policy, no matter what 'the numbers and equations say'.

Apparently the intellectuals in the economic profession are are too dumb or arrogant to accept this.

The only time I voted for someone was when I naively thought a particular initiative of that candidate will take us a little closer to the reality Jeff is talking about below.

That was before I realised voting or getting into the civil service 'to change things' is wishful and arrogant thinking.

Nothing will truly change till the power of money production and monetary policy is taken away from the government. And we are going to do that through a sly roundabout way that they cannot stop. Something they consider a scam that will never be taken seriously. Something they are too incompetent to comprehend.

There's still a lot of hope left. Change is coming.

Dear women of India,

The right to self-ownership of your body is an inalienable, universal natural right.

This truth is self-evident and does not need to be proven.

Hence, violence committed in defence of your natural right against an agressor is morally correct and just, no matter what a law, religion, culture, politician, bureaucrat, police officer, intellectual or judge says.

This is a universal ethic that applies to all human beings.

So arm yourself. It can be a knife, pepper spray or gun if possible. Use it in self-defence with conscience on your side.

Natural rights are taken and defended, not granted by an authority.

You have a right to live.

You have a right to live the life you want.

You have a right to acquire the means required to do the first two things.

You can do all of the above as long as you don't infringe on other people's rights to the same things.

A government, if it exists, should exist only to protect these rights and come up with laws to do the same and literally nothing else.

Somehow this is a 'western' ethic 😂

Present day liberals and conservatives who are very politically-inclined in India and around the world assume that issues related to culture, race, caste and religion are all that matter and economic concerns come secondary.

I'm talking about the kind of people who doomscroll social media all day and find a brand new thing to be outraged about on any given day.

This is precisely why they are told to keep quiet at dinner table conversations and nobody who disagrees with them tells them what they really think.

They are completely out of touch with economic realities of productive people in India and their grievances.

Indian politics is indeed a reality show that is a garbage heap you don't have to follow at all.

The nazis, commies, marxists, fascists, bolsheviks and fabians were all socialists who were wrong and worthy of condescension.

'Empirical data' and 'understanding history' is not necessary to come to the conclusion that stealing, coercing and killing is terrible, unjust, unethical and immoral.

Socialism is an incorrigible disease that destroys people's lives, freedoms and property. It is immoral, unnatural, horrendous and born out of hate and resentment towards fellow men and women.

The more I read the Indian constitution and all the amendments that were made to it, the more sick I grow of Ambedkar, Nehru, Indira and a lot of the early leaders. My respect for them is almost zero. I don't think I'll ever celebrate the independence day or the republic day again. The tricolour means nothing to me anymore.

Socialism has wrecked this country beyond belief.

I diverge from people who think bitcoin solves everything for a struggling economy.

Adoption of sound money has to be followed up by sound political and economic reforms like:

•Dismantling every single price control on commodities, goods and services

•Abolishing legal tender laws

•Reducing tarrifs and custom duties

•Drastically simplifying the tax code

•Abolishing the central bank

•Abolishing centrally planned interest rates and letting them be determined by savings and investments

•Privatising state-owned corporations

•Removing regulations that mandate fractional reserves and let the market forces rain down upon the banking system

•Allow depositors to demand collateral for giving their money to banks

•Land reforms that remove restrictions on land ownership, appropriation and exchange

•Making the entire country a common market for everything and preventing sub-national entities from extracting taxes.

Fiat money and Keynesianism is a global problem.

Inflation data is manipulated everywhere and reported as being less than actual numbers.

Releasing Money supply data is everywhere a 'trust me bro' exercise that is unreliable.

It's an epidemic that has been a primary cause for the rise of socialism in the last century.

Extensive welfare, freebies and subsidies exist everywhere in the world which has fiat money, whether it's a democracy, one party system, dictatorship, monarchy or oligarchy.

Sanghis look at Tamil culture and usually misinterpret it as being steeped with christian missionary influence because their brand of conservatism gets constantly rejected by the populace.

Maybe they can't comprehend or digest the fact that the ideas, morals and ethics preached by the classical liberal tradition from the European enlightenment era and those preached since long before that by the Tamil Shaivite tradition are quite similar in character.

The early Dravidian intellectuals understood this and drastically adjusted their hardcore Marxist, socialist and atheistic positions to remain relevant and succeeded.

But what do I know I'm an AnTi-nAtiOnAl wEsTeRneR who is out of touch with his culture 😂

Fiat money and central banking will inevitably collapse in the coming years, the same way fascism, communism, socialism and other forms of collectivism have always collapsed eventually. Tyrrany will always lose and Liberty will always win.

Taxation is theft.

Inflation is theft.

Tariffs are theft.

The only greater good that matters is that of your family.

Everything else is a manufactured lie that benefits politicians and bureaucrats, no one else.

All men and women have a natural right to life, liberty and property.

They have self-ownership of their body.

They have free will.

They have ownership of the property they obtained through their labour or through voluntary and mutual exchange.

Anyone is free to practice any religion they want.

Anyone is free to voluntarily trade with anyone they want.

What a man or woman ought not to do will be established by natural law arrived at through reason, rather than emotion and passion.

Punishment for violation will be dealt through the process of natural justice.

American individualist writer Isabel Paterson declared:

Educational texts are necessarily selective, in subject matter, language, and point of view. Where teaching is conducted by private schools, there will be a considerable variation in different schools; the parents must judge what they want their children taught, by the curriculum offered. … Nowhere will there be any inducement to teach the “supremacy of the state as a compulsory philosophy.” But every politically controlled educational system will inculcate the doctrine of state supremacy sooner or later, whether as the divine right of kings, or the “will of the people” in “democracy.” Once that doctrine has been accepted, it becomes an almost superhuman task to break the stranglehold of the political power over the life of the citizen. It has had his body, property, and mind in its clutches from infancy. An octopus would sooner release its prey. A tax-supported, compulsory educational system is the complete model of the totalitarian state.

Chapter 7 of 'For a New Liberty' by Murray Rothbard says something I couldn't find the words to say for the last 13 years of my life.

My entire educational journey till I turned 21 was absolutely horrible and felt more like a prison. No amount of money or threats on my life will make me want to go back to those horrifying days of slavery and subjugation. Absolutely retarded.

Government interference into education is the most laughable policy we have come to accept as normal in India.

Total and complete privatisation of everything related to education is the way.

Government-run education is more akin to a factory or a prison that is useless.

A good lecture that can explain why conditions in India after 1991 are vastly preferable to what existed before 1991.

(Not Mises' voice, its read by someone else.)

Socialism is a garbage ideology which lets dumb people pretend to be intellectuals using fancy words and fake credibility. Many Indians have had enough of that shit. It will die a slow, unnoticed death in the country.
