I’d think the goal would be to enable seamless point-of-sale similar to Apple Pay. If you’re nervous about govt chokepoints, still fairly easy to self custody the bulk of your btc and just regularly top off the lightning wallet, right?

I'm really not sure these are all that easy to separate. Love without understanding seems likely to be a pretty tenuous thing. Isn't love in a lot of ways a function of understanding & appreciation?
