Time delay issue because of low bandwidth and you still have to push to the mainnet somehow and then send a response without it getting hi jacked in transit. It's like store n forward in the fiat pmts world. Maybe this is possible with Blockstream Satelite?

Having a decentralized network that can be deployed in a local community for completing txns over Lighnting is the only way to have a parallel black market economy in my opinion. Everyone talks about it like they're going to use their mainstream hardware and local ISP while somehow dodging the CBDC+AI IRS police. Wont happen. If SHTF a truly decentralized network like Meshtastic is crucial. While the threat of needing something like this has seemingly reduced in the last months, I think this is a hugely underrated effort.

Went to a waterpark today. Not exaggerating...the ratio of obese to normal was 90/10. The ratio of obese to fit was 99/1. Two generations addicted to sugar, fast food, screens, and trained to sit on their ass 16 hours per day. It really hit me hard. It's super sad. Folks minds cant function when they're bodies are so broken. We gotta wage war on this as much as fixing the money.

38 million americans have diabetes. type 1, you’re born with. it’s an autoimmune condition. but that’s only 2 million people. 36 million of them are type 2, and type 2 is acquired. it’s a disease of lifestyle and obesity.

I totally agree with this post - and I worry about the phone call when people I care about find out they have Type-2 diabetes (or worse, heart disease) when they have been banging the body positive drum for years.
Interesting about pushups. I implement them in my lessons and my high school tennis sessions all the time. However, I've lowered the bar...they generally do 5 pushups at a time - or 15 to 20 squats.
I even bet them - when trying to hit targets - that they have to do 5 pushups if they miss all tries, but I'll do 25 pushups for every one they make. I have had to pump out 100 pushups with all of them counting...and I'm 56. Not a single one of my student-athletes could do 30...yet! Give me time (if I don't get kicked out of coaching for holding them accountable for fitness and striving for excellence).

Corn waist high, softball melons, tomatoes about to turn, squashes pumping, peppers cranking, second round of peas, and a butt load of herbs. No gophers, caterpillars, and few squash bugs. Lady bugs just came in fierce.
