Man…twitter is becoming absolutely deranged. I seriously question why I even look at it anymore between the surprise porn, violence, or emotional abuse all designed for eyeballs and clicks.

It’s pretty wild to see that this whole model is starting to eat itself. Glad we have an alternative like this, and I’m excited to see where it goes.

- Work out every week even if you don't feel like it

- Continue until failure otherwise your body is not under stress and will not adapt

- Form is important and takes continual mental effort (Poor form and "ego lifting" just lead to injury - don't be ashamed to lift light weights)

- Do not waste your time with useless isolation exercises like bicep curls. Instead do deadlifts, squats, pull ups, push ups, overhead barbell shoulder press, etc. If you don't know how to do these properly, invest in some PT sessions to get started.

- Low time preference: do not rush, do not cut corners, do not skip your warm up.

I say this because I see so many new people arrive and ask who they should follow, and then they get dozens of replies and even more suggestions and they ignore most of it and simply follow the same handful of influencers from twitter. Then soon they complain that Nostr is dead, not active enough, etc. I hate to break it to you, but many of your favorite twitter influencers aren’t very active here because they’re too addicted to twitter. Follow the people suggested to you and then start following who see them reposting, etc. Don’t worry about your silly follow:follower ratio because it doesn’t matter here.
