I’m talking about the word “progressive”
Do you find it’s a don’t judge a book by its cover situation for those that might not be crazy about the word progressive? Or do you love the name/word? Comment below from any of the 3 options:
1) keep the name
2) change the name
3) I don’t listen, doesn’t feel like it’s for me
I am in the “1” camp. I think you’re swimming upstream trying to get progressive folks to understand and care about bitcoin, but the name is an honest signal for the stories you tell.
Learning that the centralised business model of social media influencer doesn’t work the same in the decentralized world we’re creating…let’s hope they learn their lesson I guess

TIME SLOWED DOWN
I had one of those special moments in life today. While making dinner this evening, my daughter ran in from the other room and showed me her bottom-middle tooth was about to fall out. Now this would be the first baby tooth that she would lose—which also meant that this was the first baby tooth that I would be removing from anyone’s mouth.
To her credit, she was so excited and not at all turned off by the blood pooling in her mouth and around her gums. I was a bit queasy, but steadied myself to not distract from her well-earned excitement.
It was this moment when I seemed to be more in touch with the fabric of time that is always wrapping us in its warmth. Things felt slower, more natural, and I was consciously much more present. A beautiful moment.
After communicating with her about not licking my fingers when I was pulling on her tooth, we managed to work together for me to “pop” the tooth out of her mouth. Afterwards, she was giddy with joy as she ran to the mirror to look at her one-tooth-less smile.
