Earlier in the year I ran Polly the Poll bot as a service that anyone could configure and start a poll with yes/no or up to 10 choices for answers. Responses were tallied by number and amount of zaps. These polls also supported expiration and reporting final results

Zap based polls per RFC69/NIP69 (still not merged) were then added to Amethyst

As a side project Im slowly working on reaction based polls as theres no good reason for polls to require zaps.
