It's hard to believe this is really happening. Then I have to remember myself what horrible things humans have done in the past.

Leg day: squats, deadlifts, romanian split squats, sumo squats, standing calf raises and a 2 hour walk

Dead but happy🥵😆

WHY IS nostr:npub17xvf49kht23cddxgw92rvfktkd3vqvjgkgsdexh9847wl0927tqsrhc9as NOT PAYING OUT BOUNTY #9 TO STACK WALLET?

Currently, there is a bounty for a FROST Multisig Wallet implementation in the amount of 1 BTC.

Stack Wallet started work, in September 2023, on a FROST multisig wallet implementation and has had a compliant version in their app since February of this year (first discussed on nostr:npub1jcympy69pht7ptan39se4nd09e4q66qhey649uu3rczm2zh88c7s0n2890 The Bitcoin Brief on May 22/2024).

They applied for the bounty, which originally was 2 BTC. But, was changed to 1 BTC upon them submitting their application.

Since then, it has been 8 months. I have followed up with @gladstein in another thread, but there has been no response. Where's the transparency in the process?

Stack Wallet is a terrific product that works on support from donations, fees from an in-app service and bounties such as this and the fact that this bounty has been slow rolled to this extent is getting quite suspicious.

Everyone that sees this should download Stack Wallet and do this process:

1. Create a new self-custodial Bitcoin FROST wallet with a 2nd signer (friend or another device)

2. Modify the signer set without moving funds to a new address

If you can do that, then let nostr:npub1trr5r2nrpsk6xkjk5a7p6pfcryyt6yzsflwjmz6r7uj7lfkjxxtq78hdpu, nostr:npub1cf3zeytdnwgwzz5pk2ax0vvmmlzad03xcft4d50ejrfhsh8pxcdsefx7gk and nostr:npub17xvf49kht23cddxgw92rvfktkd3vqvjgkgsdexh9847wl0927tqsrhc9as know that they can dispense the bounty.

SUCCESS.

I just changed my phone number with my US banks from the old one to the one I got from jmp.chat.

The first bank doesn't seem to care much and just took my word for it. The second one (Wise US, who are becoming an increasing unbearable pain in my ass these past couple of years), of course did, and sent me an sms confirmation code. Which I perfectly and smoothly received via the Dino app on my desktop computer running Linux.

The complete set up is:

1. Get a Jabber network ID. In my case, I used movim.eu to get one.

2. Get a Jabber-able app. First I tried an iOS app, and was unable to make it work. Then I tried Dino on Linux desktop and it worked perfectly.

3. Set it up with your Jabber ID.

4. Go to jmp.chat and pick a phone number, and follow the instructions.

Everything is done through the Jabber client via chatbot and there's no other way to reach them, but there's a chat group and once you've started the registration (i.e., once you've paid), there are actual humans on the other side of the line.

The most amazing part is that the service costs $4.99/month.

Thanks for the tip, nostr: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 !

Yo that's great to see.🎉

While it looks like it is quite a lot to do before it works.

I'm glad I could help and you managed to set it all up.🤝

Some hairs on the back of her head aren't "perfect"

And I assume the yellow reflections on her chest are from the illumination/flashlight of the photographer

Since I'm involved in bitcoin banks became a big pain every time I have to interact with them for more then my normal online payments.

Once I tried to set up a wise account and after several hours and many submitted documents they instantly closed my account with no reason. Just pointed out I would have violated their terms and services. lol

I wish they would offer more countries I had already tried it. But US and Canada is not fitting for me.

To be clear, it doesn't need to be "anonymous" or anything like that because in the end this is for a completely KYC use, that is banking.

I just need something that 1. works overseas, 2. receives SMS, (3. doesn't charge stupid subscription fees. I just talked to one company that wants $44.00/mo).

I would even use the "normal" carriers, but being a non-resident, even though the company is fully registered in the US, they simply won't let me.

Maybe jmp.chat is an option? But I never used it. Just came to mind.

ty💜

I'm using Amber to log in but never had a problem before.

Deleted one relay and added another one. Could this caused it?

For sure no slow loading issue.

Since one of the last #Amethyst updates all my bookmarks are gone😢

That's not good. Guess the only way to get access again if this happens is a reinstallation.

Would be better the app would switch to reachable nodes after a long enough time without connection.

I want to transition away from Ubuntu.

But I'm not sure if I should get debian with KDE or Gnome. Or if I should try arch based Manjaro.

Most apps I care about are .deb packaged. How could I install them on an arch based system from the developers site directly, if even possible?
