Hello everyone! I’m an independent illustrator that is just looking to get out my work
#introductions
Looks demonic.
To my wife, “Darling, I don’t Google anything. I internet search it.”
Predictive text doesn’t work so well when you type fast. I turned it off.
I learned to type reasonably fast in order to get ideas down.
For a carefully crafted business email, where trite turns of phrase and corporate vocabulary are needed, it works okay.
But during inspiration, I can’t think of it as anything but a hindrance.
Like a little man sitting on your shoulder, whispering the wrong words into your ear.
Here’s an interesting search engine (new to me), that helps you find older sites.
Part of the Deadness of the internet is the incentive to show you links that have been monetized.
Nope, just visiting. Repair or replace is usually okay…unless Newsome bans natural gas water heaters.
It is cold today.
My son and I took the dog for a walk on the trail.
We spent our time throwing chunks of snow on the large frozen puddles and streams, splintering and making holes.
Then I taught him how to walk/run across ice that’s going to break, which would soak his boots.
Finally I turned us around before we got too cold, our hands and jackets wet from picking up and throwing snow boulders.
There is no substitute.
This image can apply to so many things I can’t think of one.

Agreed. First book? Yeah, I could see it. Hebrew Bible/OT for sure. Took till 397AD to canonize the New Testament, but all books were in use prior to that, possibly forming around 300AD.
The real mind-bender to me is that the Church survived for 200-300 years prior to this. An Eastern Orthodox priest clued me into this.
Check the Epic of Gilgamesh. One of the few antecedents.
Don’t waste energy on anger/mourning for the medical establishment. They told us a high carb diet was healthy 40 years ago, now the majority are obese.
Just do what you have to do for yourself. No permission needed.
No need to go to Mexico. You can buy it at Tractor Supply near me. The liquid version is far more tolerable than the paste. Kind of tastes like light Robitussin. $45 for 50ml.
In California, a free McDonald’s coffee bought with points costs $0.25 because the county charges you for a non-disposable cup.
A tree 6” wide cut down on your own property can cost up to $22,000 in fines.
To avoid the fines, you need a permit, an approved plan to replace the tree, and an inspector.
Meanwhile, the people I talked to denigrated pretty much everywhere else in the U.S.
They fiddle while it burns.
Leaving the Cloud and saving $7m.

They are also working on a product to offer an alternative to SaaS subscriptions, where believe it or not, you only buy the software Once.
In the U.S.? Houses are the highest they’ve been in 100 years. Another year or two, the prices will go down.
Can you wait?
I make sure I remind my kids that their access to me and their mother all day is more valuable than any of the other status-seeking, compete with your friends, neighbors, & relatives fiat horseshit.
Also, reminding them that they are not locked-up in a government school for 8 hours a day helps too.
I find that the most committed to fiat gamesmanship are those adults getting allowances from mommy/daddy.
