Spent vacation teaching Bitcoin to the family. Day 1 was rocky. Day 2 Grandpa started the conversation with “your Bitcoin went up 5% over night”, then Aunt started asking about miners. Day 3 younger programmer cousin affirmed Bitcoin to Grandpa, but cousin hasn’t bought any yet.
Overall, a very effective vacation.
This year, I’m so thankful that Oliver Anthony changed everything for the better.
Now that he’s signed with United Talent Agency, I can’t wait for the Dissident Right Halftime Show at the Super Bowl, including his friends Usher, Foo Fighters, and Rihanna.
Why would any Bitcoiner complain to Apple about spams that send you sats on WoS?
I hadn’t looked at WoS in a few weeks and found free sats there…not a lot, but who cares? Free sats!
What, the card boosts? Totally confusing.
I have to keep track of how they are gaming me to break even on my membership fee…how fun.
There’s the possibility that they get taken off the markets YOU are in, not others.
$20,000 will be the breakeven amount on a $100 subscription cost & 0.5% rewards.
These card boosts and categories seem confusing, especially if they change regularly.
“What is reprehensible, however, is that, while leading good lives themselves and abhorring those of wicked men, some, fearing to offend, shut their eyes to evil deeds instead of condemning them and pointing out their malice. To be sure, the motive behind their tolerance is that they may suffer no hurt in the possession of those temporal goods which virtuous and blameless men may lawfully enjoy; still, there is more self-seeking here than becomes men who are true sojourners in this world and who profess the hope of a home in heaven.”
-St. Augustine of Hippo, City of God, Book 1
Mohammed Ali demonstrated what being great really means.
It's not about never falling, but rather the mindset of getting up and fighting even harder.

If you haven’t seen it when, check out When We Were Kings.
Foreman was an absolute giant, completely fearsome.
Notice the welts he leaves in the HEAVY bag.
I don’t think Jerome Powell is going to lower rates or buy Treasuries.
I think Treasury & the Fed are opposed.
I’m in the Tom Luongo camp that he & Wall Street (JP Morgan) are at war with Europe, and opposed on some issues to Europe’s allies, the current Executive Branch.
I don’t buy “QE forever just wait 2 more weeks”, or the Fed’s bad so everything they do is bad. I think its more complex than that.
They are players with different motivations and incentives.
If you set up a booth, and some guy came by and flipped over your table, would you consider that a friendly gesture?
He’d likely be flipping it TOWARDS you, sending all your merchandise flying at you. Maybe one of the tables would land on you or someone else’s body?
What if he then said that your presence made a house of prayer a den of robbers, i.e. you are a robber?
And then he was holding a whip, and not letting people move freely?
All this would be non-violence?
Jazz, blues, avant-garde classical, rock ‘n’roll, country, gospel, house, disco, punk.
Most ethnically-sourced dances survive, but there’s arguably been less American invention since ballrooms gave way to nightclubs.
The algo can be trained to create many experiences.
Whatever experience it is creating is the one it was trained to create.
Thinking otherwise seems like believing in the fallacies that
Internet = free speech/democracy
Or
Internet = magic tech
Neither is true.
Agreed about adult exertion helping sleep. But lack of open loops in your life is even better.
Kids, it depends. But as they grow older, yes. Tire them out. Get them used to the feeling.
