I don't think it's a "trap" that affects all people equally. Everyone I've met who is like that is just low-IQ in general. They see the carrot, but not the stick. They buy cars because they like the color. They read headlines, but not the article. Left side of the Dunning-Kruger chart. Sometimes they initially fool you because they went to college and listened to some smart people stuff.

I talked to one of these about using Signal instead of SMS, and now he's in a sovereign citizen group talking about "traveling" until Q saves the world. One carrot after another.

Somebody just stopped me at whole foods to ask what my super beat up shoes were (that's my description). Turns out was unaware that vivobarefeet make this style.

I got them back in February but spilled my bulletproof coffee on them on day two and then actually made things way worse by improvising the worse washing job with some kind of soap I should have never used which basically made them look like they are super old lol... Nevertheless I've just been wearing them this whole time. I love them. And they still have a ton of life left in them...

I was super surprised and asked the guy "you like them?"

He was like "omg! I love them in like I want them right now"

It made my day as I sometime feel conscious feeling like a bum or something wearing them lol 😂

does anyone else use file names as tags instead of subdirectories, or is that just my weird thing?

i.e. 'Music-ambient-tycho--awake01.opus' or 'Audiobook-economics-Rothbard--Anatomy-of-the-State.opus'

its a habit i got into a long time ago, and now my $HOME has few subdirectories, and is easy to search in find, dmenu, and fzf.

replacing the fiat economy in your own life with a bitcoin economy is a start. but the real meaningful change comes from getting free from your fiat empire thinking patterns. which are deeper and more ingrained than most of us realize.
