British Hoble is a larp. no signal, just engagement.
Want to offer something I heard years ago that has never left my mind for it’s Truth or Truthiness:
“Women are afraid of Homicide, Men are afraid of Suicide.”
I’ve personally come to see this as dogma (with a little “d”).
So now hoping to open the discussion up, would appreciate other opinions.
I’ve recently become incredibly smitten with someone who is locked in an abusive relationship. I’ve never encountered this before, so I’m learning constantly now how common it is, in both men and women, and how it creeps in slowly…because sociopaths gotta sociopath.
In researching this, I found this piece from pop-psych mag Psychology Today that was amazing, and I’ve read it over and over again…referred it to my friend and she said “that was my life wrapped up in one article”.
I’m learning that abuse isn’t a victim problem, it’s what happens when normal people don’t know that there are sociopaths in the world. So they get ensnared slowly, thinking they are working hard to manage normal relationships in normal ways. They don’t realize they’re with people who are not healthy but have been struggling to appear as healthy their whole lives.
Yes, for the Bitcoiners reading this we realize that ALL of us are in an abusive relationship. We, and I, get this. But it hits home to experience this much closer to my home and to heart.
Recognizing the sociopath personality is absolutely, 100% key to awakening in our modern world. They are small, but they are legion, and totally in control because naturally they seek control…where normal people don’t want to. Bitcoiners get this. There’s a reason most of Congress in the US is over 70…they have no interest in retiring and spending time with loved ones. They don’t understand loved ones, or people. They only understand control. It’s so unhealthy.
Bitcoin has vastly helped me understand how to be strong and sensitive and patient with a woman I’m whooped by. (And things are going forward in a very amazing way, just to say).
So: if this post speaks to or is relevant to anyone else out there right now, this article packs a lot of info into a very easy-to-read format:
I don't think John Wick is a good movie series, but part of me likes them anyway because it's Keanu.
I didn’t mind the first one (only one I’ve seen), but I truly appreciate that Keanu was literally the only choice for that role - a middle-age A-list actor who has spent 20 years or more on the cutting edge of fight-combat. It’s doubtful the film would’ve had much impact with anyone else.
Also I heard they had a 3-day location shoot that couldn’t be changed and Keanu came down w/ stomach flu. They said he never complained, gave his all, and spent his downtime resting and vomiting. Also heard he genuinely makes an effort to hang-out with everyone one his shoots, which is a sign of character if its true.
Appreciate you.
My daughter changed my life one day at a homeschool group when she ran up to another kid and said “Hey! my name’s ___, I Like You, you wanna be friends?”
That hit me hard, as an adult.
So now, when I genuinely like someone, I will make a simple point if it’s appropriate to say “I Like you. I hope we can be friends.”
Authenticity is a fundamental life-goal.
Especially now.
You know what’s gonna be fun?
The coming wave of future TikTok troll vids at Taco Bell drive-thrus.
“Taco Bell is set to expand the use of artificial intelligence voice technology in its drive-thrus to hundreds of US locations by the end of this year…”

I just clicked on around 17 fire hydrants, bicycles, traffic lights, motorcycles, buses, etc trying to buy man-panties for bitcoin. Gave up.
Even the algo behind these bot-checkers doesn’t know how to identify these things. Huge waste of time, sorry Pantiesforbitcoin.com !
Was in an argument tonight about the Olympics, and flailed to make my point because I haven’t cared or thought about the Olympics in 20+ years. My thoughts now, cuz Nostr being Nostr.
The Olympics is the Ethereum of Sports.
A platform whose only purpose & reason is to perpetuate & monetize engagement for ‘sports’ no one would otherwise reasonably care about.
It’s a crypto-conference of shitcoin enthusiasts.
And before you argue your favorite competition, let me offer this re-buff:
If your favorite competition mattered to Society, wouldn’t it already be on TV for months out of the year already?
If it’s not, it’s because it’s a niche appreciation. And that’s perfectly wonderful!
Deserving of being appreciated.
But the Olympics stopped being about sports long ago. It’s now about Urban Development Grift.
Just like MacDonald’s stopped being about burgers and fries long ago, cuz the same….
This is my experience as well, and I can offer that understanding Bitcoin has helped me to understand the importance of ‘authenticity’ in myself, and those around me.
People immersed in Ego need to be told what is important from outside, from the top-down.
Authentic people learn what is important from the people around them that they respect.
It’s such a world of difference, yet so gut-wrenchingly hard for most of us to get to.
Printed fiat going into Military and DARPA and “Deep State” projects seems largely to be money-laundering. Not that nothing gets developed, just that what does is mostly about controlling “popular uprisings” abroad and at home. Not defending the US.
The apex asset of the military, the aircraft carrier, is now widely expected to be taken down quickly by a swarm of drones or a hyper-sonic missile. We’ll probably see that in the next 3 or so years.
America’s “defense policy”, imo, should return to what it naturally was: the most defensible major nation in the world, based on geography. Key word being “defense”.

Worst. Overproduced. Middle-school play. Ever.
Bohemian Grove has def jumped the shark.
Shout-out, though, to the pleb who filmed something no one who took a private jet/ lime there even wanted to sit through.
Three pieces of human wisdom that I, personally, continually ponder and never really grasp:
“Hope for the Best, Prepare for the Worst, Accept What Comes.”
“This too shall pass.”
“Growth only happens after the rain.”
Another one I’ll offer off the top of my head because I’m clinging to it like a lift-raft right now:
“Every heartbreak becomes a blessing, in time.”
Signal. Can’t define it, but I know it when I see it.
In the past, in America, Generational differences were labeled by their outstanding voices and characteristics.
These labels quickly became handy marketing terms.
The the book “The Fourth Turning” pre-labeled ‘Millennials’. (‘Gen-Y’ was rejected).
‘Gen-Z’ became a sloppy pre-label applied before any of that generation were born.
Don’t identify w/ your predecessor’s high-time preference.
You are no “Millennials” or “Gen-Z”.
You will make your own future, your own identity.
History will identify you after the fact, by your accomplishments.
SEATTLE TO JOIN LOS ANGELES (& OTHER CITIES) IN HIRING ILLEGAL IMMIGRANTS FOR POLICE FORCE
“Seattle is joining the growing list of left wing cities that have decided to turn to illegal aliens to fill the ever-increasing void in the ranks of their police department, following cities such as Los Angeles. This is due to severe understaffing that has gutted many large city departments in primarily blue cities.

One issue facing DACA recipients becoming police officers is because they are in the country illegally, which means that they are not generally permitted to carry a firearm. However, Biden’s ATF (Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco, Firearms and Explosives) has ruled that “It is ATF’s position that DACA recipients can possess duty firearms and possess ammunition as part of their official law enforcement officer duties,” according to the Police Executive Research Forum (PERF).”

Serious question: what investment is worth more than your country’s ownership of the most important resource in the world?
