I understand URSF will make chain split. I think it is just OK. I believe miner's side would become a B-cash likely chain.
How can we refuse MASF without chain split?
What if we assume that all verify nodes are URSF nodes? Wouldn't miners abandon MASF? This is why it looks like hardfork to me.

As far as I know, Segwit UASF disagree with hardfork and agree with softfork.
However, what makes me confused is how to say NO through a node to miner driven softfork.

I'm confused. According to the book "The blocksizw war", UASF is separate node from Bitcoin Core. It implemented to say consent. But, I don't have any idea how to say opposition explicitly.
