...thought provoking insightful note.

Is #nostr prepared for when someone figures out how to make a recursive note? nostr:npub180cvv07tjdrrgpa0j7j7tmnyl2yr6yr7l8j4s3evf6u64th6gkwsyjh6w6

Cats because you have to earn their affection.

They will never recapture the magic of Diablo 2 for me. Between that and Dark Age of Camelot my golden age of gaming has long since passed.

If I have one Bitcoin I should be able to get 185.7 girlfriends.

Not unless they can make the Yuan the WRC. The only way to fund a military as powerful as the USA military is through massive global theft.

The people in charge don't care. They're too busy getting obscenely rich through theft. We can only hope that the plebs wake up to what's happening, and shit like the debt ceiling debacle is just another alarm.

Things are more like they are today than they've ever been before.

I have no sympathy for billionaires. Tax them 90% of their net worth and they will still be worth hundreds of millions.

Things like raising taxes on billionaires and universal healthcare are actually favored by the majority of Americans, so I don't think they are wedge issues. The fact that these things never get any traction in Congress just shows that our elected officials don't really represent us. The government isn't incompetent just by virtue of it being a government, but by the design of the elite ruling class that pulls the strings. Governments are capable of being a benefit to society when they aren't corrupt bloated bureaucracies as ours has become.

Unfortunately we are stuck with what we have, and they will tax us anyway and spend the money as they see fit. We should at least try to prevent them from further consolidation of power until such a time when they can be brought down via non-violent revolution with Bitcoin, or just straight up violent revolution with guillotines and such.

What's up with the middle row of teeth?

Bitcoin will lead to that eventually, but in the meantime I think we should be trying to use the power of our votes to help it along. Though I recognize that our voting power is pathetic, it's better than nothing. I don't think checking out of the political process completely as many here have chosen to do is helpful.
