I won't have much time to spend on Zion but parked my name there and will see how it evolves. I still have most engagement on the blue bird even though I'm shadowbanned there.
For better Amethyst experience, go into the app settings menu for Amethyst and clear the cache. Vitor said that large avatars of 22mb take up 10% of the apps cache and avatars in general have been a cache-killer.
The absolute horror of the narrative manager class.
Yes, that is the standard, to disallow large avatar sizes from the start, and then consider increasing the limit.
Seems you were correct #[1]. He started talking about getting people to trade his Minaars or whatever that is. Unfollowed him. The other annoying part were how congested the feed became with all the retweets.
I heard from Vitor that one known problem is large sized avatars. An avatar of 22 mb is for example 10% of Amethyst's cache. This is probably true of banners as well.
2142 is also up there.
Bitcoin goes Hitchhiker's Guide to the Galaxy.๐
Right, probably not reusable.
I can also recommend the Blixt wallet for Android for general LN transfers and invoices. It is still experimental but works fine. You just need to remember to back up the LN channels from the menu, just a simple click, then verify channels.
It's also cool that in Polish the word Zapลaciฤ means 'pay'. Zap is a perfect diminutive form.
(Zapลaciฤ is pronounced zap-watch-itch, but with European 'a', as in English word 'far')
Normally, people can't produce commercial products with the art of others without consent/collaboration, but for private purposes they can use it as they see fit.
Hmm, still get an error message when I try to zap you and I don't see any LN address on your profile.
I had problems with WalletOfSatoshi so I created a Zebedee account + a burner email address for verification, just for the LN address. There may be better options but it took me about 5 minutes to get it going after downloading the app.
๐ The best message to artists is to encourage them to host their art on Bitcoin L2, and respect the L1 as an economic liberty layer.
Ok, thank you for the redponse Vitor. ๐

Same experience here.๐
How about this heuristic:
If the note is longer than, let's say, 30 characters and it repeats 5 times or more within 7 days, it's considered spam.
This wouldn't stop all spam but at least be a step on the way, while allowing plebs to respond with the same message if short.
That said, there might be legitimate notes that are inadvertently flagged as spam. Also the function would need to calculate a percentage similarity between notes.
At a future point when Amethyst can be considered finished, perhaps then it would make sense to make a build available without the google library. Just my two cents.
