Hi #grapheneos community! Question: if i need to install Garmin Connect, Google play services (for some banking apps) and whatsapp, wouldn’t it be better to have an iphone with all that on one hand and a #grapheneos phone without that kind of cr*p on the other? Thanks!!!
I would love to say that you can do 'X' or 'Y' and have a privacy respecting OS on your OPPO. But I'd be lying. If you want privacy, stick to your phone till you sell enough things or save to get a Pixel 6 or newer. Then flash graphene os, put as minimum apps as you need, and you'll be where you wanna be. Bear in mind that privacy is a journey. You don't do A B C and be done with it. It's an ongoing mindful effort that, in the end, is worth your while. All the best, and reachoutI if in need.

Some good ones migrated from blue bird to mastodon, but we should find ways to incentivize nostr adoption. Making it easier to find those content creators would help a lot. I don't mean economically since zaps are mind blowing concept. I'm thinking about easier ways to connect creators with (potential) followers.
Please don't take this the wrong way, but I feel like #nostr needs to improve content quality. I don't see full posts or content on topics (other than btc, which is great). Maybe categories, topics or something like that could help. What do you think?

Dude, Apple has to go. You can't even set a custom ringtone to third party apps. And that awful iOS dock that will not go away. Android (GrapheneOS) fixes this.
Glad this topic is being mentioned. Privacy is a must. Keep in mind that GrapheneOS and CalyxOS are different in many ways. Calyx still uses google services by default, and lacks frequent security updates. This is not the case forma Graphene, since BY DEFAULT,there are no google services installed. Please do check with each dev team before installing. Stay safe! (And stack sats :) )
