I don't really know if github pages allows redirects or htaccess.

I personally have my own server and nginx handles the redirect.

You could also just use cloudflare to handle the redirect for you (serverless)

Yeah I believe he made changes to make it work on desktop for Alby - just reporting that the change didn't work for that purpose regardless

I believe (?) that CORS headers are no longer required for profile images on astral now? I might be wrong?

#[1] can u confirm

fwiw picking system default does nothing now - Alby doesn't come up and the old behavior of trying to launch Electrum doesn't happen either.

You should use it and authenticate through Alby or nos2x instead of pasting your private key into the website.

Ledger Live is completely open source.

https://github.com/LedgerHQ/ledger-live

You can build it yourself.

People shit on Ledger (rightfully) for closed-source device firmware (the OS running on the signing device, which has nothing to do with sharing xpubs).

If you'd like to know how Ledger Live works architecturally, it's good to take a look at satstack (where you stop querying Ledger for addresses entirely and use your own node):Β https://github.com/LedgerHQ/satstack

As you can see; the flow is:

Signing Device -> xpub to Ledger Live (local, never shared) -> Query n+x Addresses (external).

Essentially this image but replace satstack by Ledger's own explorer by default:

Manipulate in what way? People subscribe to relays.

Relays don't talk to eachother.

You can make a million relays, if no one is using them, you're relaying to no one.

Trying out [Snort.social](https://snort.social/). Has nice and simple UI. However some buttons on the profile and posts don't work and the LNURL is blank.

Yeah Follow/Followed/Relay buttons are placeholders afaik

But improving quite quickly.

Looks like snort.social now has a Global feed as well! Good web client to keep an eye on if you haven't tried it.
