February 2020 I couldn't go to my usual barber. I haven't looked back since.

Been posting little things I usually only note in Obsidian to my site in case someone someday searches. #nginx

Might be easier to say what wasn't so bad. Cast of usual Bitcoin "influencers". Along with politicians pandering.

Was like nostr is now. No one realized the potential, but 14 years later we do!

I have been into #bitcoin since mid 2009 and have seen the culture around it change over the years. Wanting to see it succeed as much as anyone. But watching the stuff coming out of Bitcoin 2023 in Miami I feel bad since I can't help but find most of it very cringe inducing.

I might just be getting old and crotchety.🤣

Find myself using nostr:npub1plstrz6dhu8q4fq0e4rjpxe2fxe5x87y2w6xpm70gh9qh5tt66kqkgkx8j as much as Amethyst. Well done. 🤙💜

Best example in DNS would be how https://www.opennic.org/ works with their Top Level Domains (TLDs). If use their DNS servers those domains work. Like using .local at home.

Came across this for reference https://github.com/nostr-protocol/nips/pull/386

I had thoughts a while back...

Uh oh. Now two candidates for president accept BTC donations.

Seems something like this should be another layer to NIP-05. Since currently just shows you control the web server that DNS is using. Not the DNS itself.

There is Mac version of https://www.privoxy.org to use with Tor. Bad part is most nostr web clients won't work unless enable scripting then can expose true IP easily.

If mean a BTC/Lightening Node then Tor for sure. Misread sorry 🤣

Depends on opsec needs. Tor is good but slower, but I find using Relayable .onion relay not too slow. VPN is more for obfuscation of your IP. Could run Docker containers of strfry on Mac and use SOCKs proxy locally to tunnel to Tor. Combo of VPN/Tor option.
