Most posts I make on Nostr feel to some extent like a challenge. And I post them anyway. I enjoy that challenge. I write them in part *because* they are challenging.

I'm putting uncomfortable thoughts into the decentralized Nostr void to anyone who wants to host what I say on their relay.

That's why I'm here. I'm adding my thoughts to this medium to help advance it. I write here the things I wouldn't post to the normies on Twitter/X. Only on Nostr do I embrace my weirdness and inappropriateness. I analyzed this ecosystem, and decided that you, and only you, yes you reading this who took the time to be here, deserved to see my real or "based" thoughts to the extent that you care about them. And that includes my weaknesses. I've shown those in some of my recent posts, and I'll continue to show you my weaknesses here. I wrote about the times I got rekt in a fight and cried. I'll type that kind of thing out here, and only here, on Nostr, again and again.

If I post something intellectually polarizing I start to think, "what would my followers think?" But then I'm immediately like, "I don't know. Who cares. If they hate my truths here then were they even real my followers to begin with? Maybe they need to be challenged."

Meanwhile, I *do* care what you all think in aggregate, am willing to disagree with you individually on certain topics, but want to hear your thoughts. And I'm willing to change my views based on you. In fact, many of my Twitter/X posts are there over the past years because I want to see what people comment with before I write my full-on reports. The same is likely true for Nostr. This is raw ground. I want your thoughts. I won't bend my truths toward you, and I'll challenge you, as I expect you to challenge me.

So, if someone takes the effort to be on Nostr and some how reads this, I want them in my ecosystem. I want their criticisms as much as their praise. Criticize me here. I'll enjoy it. Let's go. You're awesome.

And then I'm like "What about my business contacts?" I have like these various billionaire institutional close contacts that are richer than me but have to wear ties to work. But I mean, if they are reading this right now, they are fucking awesome. I think, any of my serious existing business contacts who are cool enough to be here, are likely people I want to continue to work with. If they don't like what I say, they can bring it up with me. Otherwise they can appreciate my rawness here, and recognize that Nostr is where I post my random thoughts or my deep thoughts, and either of which are my raw thoughts.

My goal is to be real, and to advanced this protocol.

The day that far more people are on Nostr, is the day I will practice more public moderation. Until then, and that's probably far away, it's the medium where I will drop f-bombs and describe weird situations and thoughts. Let's go.

After analyzing it for a thousand hours over more than a decade, I still can’t find a better nutrient-to-cost ratio than grass-fed ground beef.

I also think non-grass beef is fine vs normal beef, but then I have certain environmental permaculture soil maxi ethical views. So I mean, ultimately my opinion is to eat beef, and preferably from cows that are as close to nature as possible (ie they eat tall deep-rooted grass and have space and thus don’t usually need antibacterial medicine because they are healthy).

I don’t like to conflict with real scientists, but more than a decade ago I began researching nutrition and experimenting on myself. Many bitcoiners find nutrition, but I found nutrition and then found bitcoin, which is the less profitable direction.

I am not a doctor or a nutritionist. Most doctors and nutritionists are shitty at nutrition, but nonetheless I am not one of them.

I am, however, an athlete and engineer. I began to notice my performance issues with industrial carbs and seed oils, and began removing them. Huge health boost, and I felt so much better. This was after reading many studies.

I then did personal blood tests. I logged my food, pricked my finger and tested my glucose each day, pricked my finger and tested my ketones each day, for science, etc. I felt good and performed well under ketosis, subject to certain athletic details depending on the sport.

Ultimately I practiced seasonal ketosis. Seasons of normal health-conscious food. Seasons where I go more hardcore on ketosis for health.

My main view is that low carb eating is good, grass-fed ground beef is particularly good and cheap, etc. Eat while foods and minimize toxins. I am happy to debate nutritionists or whoever on this, it isn’t my expertise, but imo a pre-qualifier to such a debate is that they need to have visible abs. I have no tolerance toward the opinion of a flabby university nutritionist.

Haflinger draft ponies giving wagon rides; working for their hay.

We got out haflinger horses for several reasons, one to enjoy them recreationally, two as a way to increase our resilience at the homestead, and three to generate cash flow. The past several years (covid nonsense mostly) have impeded our ability to use the horses to make money but this year we were able to realize our business with the horses.

The largest input we have at the homestead is hay, and thankfully we are able to source it locally, as close as directly across the street. The horses do a great job of converting hay into fertility we can easily utilize but it is still expensive. Now, the horses are paying for their hay with the work they do giving wagon rides and we still get use the manure they produce to feed our chickens, as well as fertilize gardens and pastures.

We gather the manure and feed it to our chickens. They scratch and turn it, making it into compost quickly. They find fly larvae in the manure, which provides protein for them to produce high quality eggs. By eating the larvae, the fly pressure is also reduced for the horses.

Once the chickens process the manure, we use it to grow out annual vegetables and cannabis. The year we had more compost than we could use in the gardens and we spread it on a weak pasture.

Over time the horses have transformed from an expensive hobby to an essential system on the homestead. The produce cash flow, they have the ability to work, and the generate a nutrient flow that produces bountiful growth.

Very true, great insights. And yes, very hard to control emotions…that’s why we stay humble and stack sats.
