Which kind do I use to implement RPC between two applications over Nostr?

Context: I wonder if it'd be possible to make some basic APIs available through Nostr rather than exposing services directly. For instance, QBittorrent has an API... what if it spoke Nostr? Or Home Assistant? Or Jellyfin? Though I don't know what exactly I would do with a nostr-rpc to Jellyfin, but... who knows. o.o

When a lightning node is being routed through, what information do they know about the route?

Take the following:

Payer -> Alice -> Bob -> Charlie

The Payer knows the full route that will be used. Its my understanding that Alice doesnt know that Charlie is the eventual recipient, and only knows that they have an offer to try to send to Bob.

Does Alice know that Bob isnt the final recipient?

Does Alice know that the final recipient is 1 hop away?

Does Alice know that the Payer is the originator vs it being routed through them to Alice

Can Alice compare the expiry of the invoice being paid vs htlc aging to know how much time was spent in flight to this point?

Conversely can Alice ascertain how long an htlc may have been held by Bob?

Is there an implementation for gRPC over NIP04? And if not, would anyone else be interested in this? Using Nostr DMs as a transport layer for sending and receiving Protocol Buffer messages would allow for computers to find each other based on their nPub rather than a static IP address.
