keep nostr weird

I would defend my home, my neighborhood, and the homes and neighborhoods of my brothers sisters and children. Anything more is mental illness.

Good tool to find gems like this:

https://shapecatcher.com/

Some proteins are good to denature (also good to destroy some molecules). For milk, meat, and fruit raw is indeed better but for grains and other vegetables well cooked is much better (they are full of toxic proteins and other compounds).

Just use the API bruh

I only rarely end up paying more using the metered billing than I did with the unlimited plan

Pretty cool to see open timestamps working as usual even wirh fees so high.

Proudly presenting: The Cashu Protocol v1 specs!

One year after the inception of Cashu, we finally introduce the first version of the protocol.

This is a major evolution! We dubbed it "The Great Cleanup" and it's already being implemented in different Cashu projects.

You can find the pull request in the Cashu NUTs repository.

Cashu NUTs (Notation, Usage, and Terminology) describe the protocol specifications of Cashu wallets and mints. This makes sure that Cashu Ecash systems are interoperable.

https://github.com/cashubtc/nuts/pull/55

Among countless other improvements, we introduce a new concept: Quotes!

Quotes allow mint operations with different payment methods (Lightning, on-chain, ...) and Ecash units (sats, msats, usd, ...).

This brings incredible flexibility for building Ecash systems.

We also transition from base64 keyset IDs to hexadecimal IDs with a version flag. This allows much easier upgrades of the keyset ID in the future.

Read more about Cashu and check out Cashu projects like Wallets and mints at https://cashu.space

If you are a developer, make sure to check out the many Cashu libraries on our documentation page at https://docs.cashu.space

Onward!

Quotes!!!

Thanks calle. Cashu is incredible

ok if you just use it to reduce government:

pay for it only with the money were using now to pay government employes and government programs

Routing (or at least the plasubility of it) is pretty important for privacy, you need announced channels for that

Found a mistake:

One of the benefits of a blockchain is that you cqn check if the supply is being inflated.

Liquid has this benefit (you know they've only issued as many coins as went in).

Things like fedimint do not.

So there is at least one benefit of a blockchain that liquid has.

That's blixt wallets lsp. it will have the same difficulties as voltage (mutiny's) and olympus (zeus's) with onchain fees.

As usual, I will point out that a federation of 51% of the miners would be great custodians since they can be dynamic, sybill resistant, anonymous, ans incentive aligned with bitcoin.

If only there was a nip that would make this possible 🤔

Then I guess we'd need to write code for it, maybe we could call the miner custodied coins something like "drivechain" coins...
