Hey everyone, how’s it going.
Just would like to say a couple of things. First a question.
I’ve been looking at buying my first hardware wallet over the last month or so and I’ve narrowed it down to the bit box 02 nova and the Blockstream jade plus. I’d like to in the future upgrade potentially to the cold card q but I think atm it’d be too complicated for me and I would probs just end up locking myself out unintentionally or doing something else stupid.
Would just like to get some thoughts on which might be better out of the jade plus and 02 nova? I know that the jade plus has the esp 34 chip in it which was a bit of a let down in finding out but I also know that it most likely won’t be a problem due to the other sources of security which would help mitigate any problems.
Also I just wanted to say as well, that I’ve quickly found that it’s easy to get caught up in thinking about the money value side of bitcoin and I needed to remind myself why I’m getting involved in the first place, and that is to eventually be able to buy my own bit of land, detach from the system as best I can and to live off grid and live the homesteader lifestyle in the Aussie bush. To live a life of simplicity and joy.
It would be great to hear from you all as well, what are your reasons, dreams / goals that being a part of bitcoin might allow you to accomplish?
