Far from it. There's no reason any of this should have happened, and every reason why it's entirely unnecessary.

I'm sharing ways that I was able to mitigate harm; there is nothing precious about it - this is iron, to protect, not silver, to cherish.

Growing up in a situation where overbearing authorities constantly gaslight you about your own suffering, refuse to meet your needs, and deliberately enable abuse really sucks.
