Bitcoin needs really fast more decentralized miners. With the US all in situation we will see more and more missing transactions and the US is the home for a lot big mining companies
When I have the chance to choose between Lightning and Monero I take Monero.
Other sidenote. We convert everything in Bitcoin or Monero. We used to have a setup with BTCPay and TrocadorApp for swaps. I think it's more convinient for people to pay direct with their coins instead of swap it. They also save some money, not much but still. That's why we do it that way now.
