It's just stalled in development during a time when youtube is intentionally fucking with it. PipePipe has been having updates at least once per week to fix whatever new bullshit youtube is tossing out.

There are still some issues on pipepipe such as occasional failure to load but the retry button has worked in every instance so far. By contrast newpipe is simply nonfunctional. I cannot watch videos on it try as I might.

Debuggers focus on the tree, not the forest. I don't know of a way you could write a debugger that focuses on the forest.

The one exception of course being a coverage graph which are, for some reason, an abandoned project in the C++ world last I checked.

Most debugging tools beyond that are simply integrated into whatever the programs are being written.

If those don't help, again, it comes back to the coder having a bad mental model, which isn't a problem related to debugging.
