It’s Sunday. While no longer Christian like my upbringing, I still hold true many of the teachings of Jesus. Loving your neighbor, fighting against injustice, doing the right, but often times hard, thing.

My mother had an accident earlier this morning and had a head and spinal injury.

So far she’s been completely unresponsive since they’ve stabilized her and put her on life support. Two vertebraes fractured.

They’ve barely been able to do any tests so far while trying to make sure she just lives and they tell me the doctors will provide a game plan by tomorrow.

I just got to a hotel since I wasn’t allowed to stay there overnight with her. It’s been an all day affair of following her being medflighted, and if my wife hadn’t been there to do CPR when it all happened, I’m not sure she would have even made it to the hospital.

I’m trying not to let any anger, self-loathing, or negativity into my heart. I know Jesus nor she would want me to. I’m trying to make sure she remembers she has good reason to persevere.

I just need to hear my mother’s laugh again or to see her look into my eyes one more time, please Lord

Here are some things that normies hate, that are generally awesome in my experience.

- going all in on bitcoin

- silence

- a book about napoleon’s military campaigns

- learning a new skill

- staring at a fire

- cleaning a revolver

- being alone

- lifting heavy weights with no music

- doing nothing

I don’t understand why do people have this urge to predict Bitcoin tops.

Just buy the best performing asset in human history, go out and enjoy life

People who make notes saying: “I’m gonna zap everyone who responds to this” bother me. It’s like paying to advertise yourself. It’s not V4V and the vast majority of “people” who respond to these notes are not “people” I see regularly using nostr. They just come out of the woodwork when money is on the table.

Both sides of the spectrum (the shillers AND the beggars) should contemplate how to bring actual value to the space.
