⚡️ Lightning network is actually mind blowing, I’ve made 78 payments in the last 10 days, total fees paid was 512 sats, here’s the interesting part… of those 78 transactions 3 of them make up the fee of 510 sats, these 3 transactions where on chain to lightning transactions (topup wallet), that means for the other 75 transactions made, only 2 sats in fees was collected by routing nodes 🤯
Yeah it’s odd but beautiful, the standards that relays can implement is what’s been missing. A simple standardised set of rules is all it took to now being able to switch clients, no need to signup again and know I’m still working with the same data/connected to the same great minds. Let’s not forget TCP existed in the 70’s but it wasn’t until the early 90’s until we saw HTTP
