Looks like you can download your images from the Instagram app, or am I misunderstanding?
The redesign looks really good on the feed of photos from #[4]
I would be surprised if someone hasn’t already made an app or extension to do it.
Seems like it. I don’t know how much that study is to be believed. But also human beings sometimes have a hard time adapting to change. The new design works fine for me. Different strokes for different folks, I guess. 🤷🏻♂️
DM’d you (but about the open source ticket program)
Yep, I built it. It depends. If you choose one of the default LibreTranslate servers, then you do not need an API key. They are free services, their uptime may not be the best so try rotating through them.
If you use DeepL, you will need to sign up for an API account to get an API key to paste into Damus settings. The free plan has been sufficient for my usage.
Prompts to translate notes will show up if you’ve tapped into the note.
You have a channel about your adventures! So cool

🔥 Welcome, #[1] and happy birthday #[2] ! 🥳🎂
I think her mind is blown. 🤯 “All these people zapped me?” “How do I thank them?” “Should I zap him?” SUCCESS! 😈
Just set up a Lightning wallet, Lightning address, and a NIP-05 identifier for #[0] Full on purple pilling complete. Light her up! ⚡️ vita@vitanotzita.com
Thanks for the offer! I have a backup option already, in case nobody gets back to me about the open source ticket.
Missing Uvita already (except the sweaty part) but now chilling with #[0] without the U in San José for a few more days!
Awesome meeting you in person. Until next time!
Seems to me that there’s at least two large industries that many people interact with but suffer from centralization. Short-term rentals (e.g. Airbnb) and gig-work (e.g. Uber, DoorDash, TaskRabbit). These companies act as middlemen, control who is allowed on the platform, take a large cut of funds, and remove you or remove work from you at any arbitrarily defined moment. This can be disruptive for people who rely on these platforms to earn income. nostr could fix this. Give the end users the tools and the freedom to choose who to trust to proceed with the transaction. Give people their full earnings, and allow people to pay what it actually costs.
