This is cool. Is there anything stopping someone from re-broadcasting to other (perhaps public) relays.

I tried going to the note that you referenced by it doesn't exist for me.
Can you check your balance to make sure you still have enough sats? It costs 0.1 sats to translate each character. Also try closing and restarting Damus to clear the event cache.
What other preferred languages do you have set on the iPhone besides Simplified Chinese? There can be more than one. You can check in iOS settings by going to Settings > General > Language & Region.
Thanks for the insight, Pablo. Should the tag that stores JSON on the kind 1 be just anything or is there a specific tag to use?
Just remembered I need to swap out my winter tires. π©π
#[2]β LibreTranslate can be unreliable. Dumb question, when you selected NoKYCTranslate, did you add an API key and add sats to it? Can you also share your iOS preferred languages settings, Damus language settings, and link to a note that should have translated but didnβt?

I haven't run Linux in a while and I haven't used this client, but Gossip is a desktop Nostr client that supports Linux and Windows, and seems to be reputable and well-liked by folks, including fiatjaf and jack. https://github.com/mikedilger/gossip
Happy Friday! What are everyoneβs plans for this weekend? Iβm going to dedicate it primarily to Nostr development, bringing some new ideas in my head into reality.
Sounds like a fun project! I wonder if it could be an extension of the iPhone app that #[2]β is building to do that exact thing.
