We need air, water, and 🧀. Sell those chairs!
Summer is late and I haven’t got time, so I made some paleo lemon blueberry bars with a heavenly texture. 🍋🫐
Close enough to the real thing for now. 🏝️

I don’t mean by it settling for second best, but merely not expecting too much of one human being.
Nah, he knows exactly what I mean. 😌 Plus the laws of the universe don’t apply to him. ❤️
That’s a very clear and pragmatic way to put it. 💯 🙏🏻
We’re not talking about you, my nostr:npub1clk6vc9xhjp8q5cws262wuf2eh4zuvwupft03hy4ttqqnm7e0jrq3upup9. You’re something else. 🌌 😌
Oh, yes! That’s the least one can hope for. 🤗
I think “good enough” can be pretty darn extraordinary.
I hear you. 😊 I think the idea of living happily forever after which the one perfect person for you is a complete fallacy. And life just isn’t purely, constantly extraordinary to begin with.
If a good enough lover to go through life with is not your jam, you could also try having many good enough lovers - simultaneously or not. But the expectation of finding the perfect one and that they would be the only one and that it would make your life extraordinary for the rest of it, I don’t see anything good that can come out of that.
“In democracy, every four years you get a new robber. In monarchy, the leader has low time preference and so, almost accidentally, his interests and yours align.” - Saifedean Ammous
🧐🤔
Such unhelpful expectations to have, to put it gently.
If there was a way to fully unlearn Romanticism, everyone who wants a lover would be happily living with a good enough one.
Do you have a link for this piece of art, please? 😌
Bonjour, Nostr!
Despite everything, this world has endless beauty to be found for those who remember to seek it. Keep facing towards the light. 🌻☀️

There one no insinuation there! 😂 Only an illustration.
I guess that’s why we need emojis. 😌
I hear you, and I think we’re talking from two different angles that can absolutely coexist.
Stay free, too! 🫂
I’m talking about the parts of our thinking that we wouldn’t want to stand behind. Not every thing that crosses our mind deserves to be delivered – psychopaths lack that knowledge. Even with just ourselves there’s a need for questioning and filtering.
