Is it a new thing where you are? Wonder if that is something which will improve. Also I imagine it makes a big difference on whether you can pop down in walking distance in say an urban location. Rather than a trek and car ride with rattling can and bottles, if you're in a more rural area /not close to a store.

I have no idea how I'll feel if/when it gets introduced here.

I did notice when I was in Berlin that homeless people asked you for your empties on public transport, which is curious. Not sure I know how I feel about it cos I was only visiting really and didn't really dwell on it beyond a curiosity

You know how Germany (or at least Berlin?) Has that bottle deposit scheme where you get money back for returning your empties. Apparently that is planned for the UK.

Anyway. Would be good if you could get that back as bitcoin. Just an idea.
