As #bitcoin crosses €100K again, the Value of Money exhibition at the Vienna Technical Museum tells us bitcoins are “utterly virtual units not backed by any real value” and are generated by “volunteer activists” 😂 #winning

Installed RNode on a couple of devices yesterday so I can experiment with #reticulum. I now need to figure out how to use it.. While Meshtastic is great for what it does, Reticulum looks like it offers a lot more functionality (although with additional complexity).

You know why you feel that the world is stupid and thousands of evils are allowed to be done to men and women by governments, for example:

- Illegal immigration

- Crimes committed by immigrants

- Abusive taxes

- Lack of job opportunities

- Inaccessible housing

- Lack of freedoms

Because most people need a leader, they are not able to think for themselves, and you will have to accept this or you will go crazy, if you want things to change, someone will have to step forward.

We could say that the distribution is:

1% - Lone wolves, they understand what is there, they are critical thinking people, but they are not going to step forward for various reasons.

99% - They are simply sheep, they do what the government says, if the government says that there is a false pandemic then there is a false pandemic and they get vaccinated, if the government says that we have to attack a country thousands of kilometers away then we attack it and support it.

0.000001% - The leader who wants to change the world for the better.

Throughout history there have been great leaders like Jesus Christ himself, or Martin Luther King Jr, but now unfortunately we have no reference.

In short, we are screwed.

Not a fan of the holidays because it means I have to hang out with family.

I've always been the black sheep of the family and the disparity only grows wider as time passes.

Was I wrong?

I always assumed that specialty clients should be able to easily outperform Amethyst on the quality of the features related to their specialty. Users would gradually move away from Amethyst as more and more specialty clients move forward. This culminates with a slow death of Amethyst, but towards a more exciting and decentralized future for Nostr. I have accepted this fate since the early days of the super app project.

This assumption was based on the fact that our development team would simply not have the resources to dedicate the same level of attention and support to every single specialty within Amethyst.

It has been one year and I am sad to report that I have been proven wrong over and over again.

For some reason, developing specialty clients is harder than developing the same features inside of Amethyst.

And that is a loss for decentralization.
