Fully agreed on putting an end to the social indoctrination that’s taking place. Is private schooling any better, I wonder? For parents that don’t want to wait for things to improve, it seems like home schooling is the only sensible option which likely lowers the public school academic average even more.
School is dead. Not a single student can do math at grade level at 52 Illinois schools. English not much better.

Brutal. What’s the solution? I’m already strongly opposed to the trend of removing/devaluing standardized testing and GPA. Seems like increasing the funding isn’t moving the needle. I imagine a stronger home and family unit is a great place to start but what can schools do with what they can control?
