Kurdish militants are hated by many Kurds in the region, which is evidenced by testimonies from Kurds themselves and also many defections from the ranks of the Kurdish separatist militants. These militants bombed civilian buildings in Aleppo and have a history of targeting civilians in general. Supporting these militants through propaganda is an act of proxy informational warfare, and is not meant to protect anybody in the region from "war crimes" for the reasons I have outlined above.
